Although things have been reasonably quiet on PaintPotted for the past couple of months I've been really pushing myself to make more time for blogging as it's something I sincerely enjoy doing. I've got heaps of things I want to post about and hopefully they'll be featuring on here sometime soon!
I thought I'd give you all a little run down of products that I'm loving at the moment - I've been trying loads of things as of late but here's a few that have made it to the elite list.
Santa's Lip Scrub is the second lip scrub I've tried from Lush, the other being the Popcorn one from last year's Christmas range. This particular one tastes of cola and has a slightly thinner texture which I personally prefer as you end up using less in one go. My lips have started becoming chapped with the colder weather and this combined with my Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment have been keeping them smooth and soft.
NARS eyeshadow in Lhasa is a very recent purchase. I made my way into Space NK knowing I wanted something from the NARS counter but unsure as to what I actually wanted. After 20 minutes of perusing the stand I came away with Lhasa, a beautiful lavender-grey with a hint of brown. Admittedly I started cursing myself in my head for buying an £18 eyeshadow, but I couldn't be more in love with it. It looks great as an all over lid colour but works fantastically in the crease, too.
Burt's Bees Radiance Night Cream was a bargain purchase. There was a little sale stand in the Metro Centre's Debenhams and they had both the night cream and day cream on sale for £5.99 each, when they retail at £20 each. I was desperately searching for a new moisturiser and they couldn't have been spotted at a better time. The night cream is my favourite of the two. It's rich and creamy and you don't need a lot for your skin to really feel it working.
The REN Resurfacing AHA Concentrate was purchased after Kate's recommendation. It's formulated to resurface the skin as sort of an overnight exfoliator and brighten the complexion. It can be used in two ways - applying for 7 days straight then taking a break for two weeks, or applying every other day. I like using the latter method to really give my skin a boost.
The last product is probably my favourite make up product of all time, and sadly you can't buy it anymore! MAC's Briar Rose beauty powder is from the Venomous Villains collection, and I very luckily snapped this up in a blog sale a few months ago along with the Hot House lipstick. It is literally the perfect shade of blusher for me, and the fact that Maleficent is etched onto the packaging just tops it all off. I really wish they'd release a part two or even a corresponding Princess collection, I definitely wouldn't miss out on it!
What are you loving at the minute?

I'm after a new night cream at the moment, I may look into that Burt's Bees one :)

It seems to work great for me but it is a bit pricey! I bought it with M&S vouchers so if you ever have a few of those lying about it's a good pick!

I have to admit it was purchased on a bit of a whim and I felt stupid for it initially (as it's also in a palette I put on my birthday wishlist) but I really love it, doubt I'm going to hit pan anytime soon!
