I haven't spotted many freebies with August's magazine offerings, but when I heard that with Elle magazine you received a 50ml bottle of Bumble & Bumble's Thickening Hairspray I knew this was the perfect opportunity to give the brand a go. Elle doesn't come cheap at a pricey £4.00, but if you're eager to try Bumble & Bumble I'd recommend buying.
The hairspray itself works different to others I've tried in that you apply it to wet hair before blowdrying. It's a thickening hairspray, and it does just that. I don't have fine hair at all but like to add a bit of volume to the roots, and this allows me to do that without having to backcomb. Only a couple of sprays is needed, too much and I think it adds a bit of greasiness to the hair.
Even though I'm not really one for hair products I think I might actually buy the full size when I run out, it's great for giving hair a bit of life without the overpowering scent or stiffness that a regular hairspray does!

DeleteThis sounds perfect, I love volume even though my huge hair isn't lacking in any, the more the better! Haha! Gonna have to get this, especially since Katy Perry is on the cover this month :) I love getting little sample freebies like this as its a chance to try quite an expensive product without paying out. I recently got a sample of the Ojon Rare Blend Oil and it does nothing for me! So glad I didn't pay out for it!
