Dior Golden Jungle Nail Polish Duo - £24 - Debenhams
I'm not one to regularly splurge on high end products. I could probably afford a purchase here and there, but I choose not to as I think it's nice to treat myself now and again. On my shopping trip on Saturday, my aim was to buy loads of goodies from Lush after receiving an email about their Halloween/Christmas products, but boo hiss they weren't available in store yet.
I'd noticed this duo along with the entire Jungle collection online, and the products really stood out to me. I love anything animal related and the colours were gorgeous. This was actually my first ever purchase from Dior - and it's a pretty nifty deal considering their individual polishes retail at £18 each.
The crackle polish trend is something I've never really caught on to. I just thought they weren't the most appealing polishes to look at, and I'd rather just have a nice, plain colour on my nails. But these were different. These were two colours which looked incredible together, giving the appearance of crocodile scales on the nails.
If you think they look fab photographed, then I can tell you they look even better in person. A few minutes after buying I was a bit worried that'd I'd wasted my money, but I am so glad I bought them! They're perfect autumnal colours and have really given me a good impression of Dior products.
