Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
This is my fifth week in the spending ban, and there still hasn't been any "casualties" as such. I have spent slightly more money than last week though. Last Thursday I treated myself and the boyfriend to a hot chocolate and doughnut at Krispy Kreme, costing me £6.30. Not a bad price for a treat, anyway.
Looking at my bank statement I've realised I hadn't spent anything else until last night. I was in serious need of some new jeans and although I despise clothes shopping it had to be done. I ended up getting two pairs, a hooded jacket and a vest top for £32 which isn't too painful for my purse.
I also bought Lewis a Valentine's present from Hotel Chocolat, but I won't disclose the price because I know he reads this blog. It wasn't too pricey though, as we're going away to Edinburgh over the weekend. Although I did find three pound coins roaming around in my coat pocket so I decided to pick up a bath bomb from the Bomb Cosmetics stall, oops.
My total spendage came under £50.00 :)
This week I'm lusting after the Illamasqua I'mperfection nail varnishes, but at £14.50 each I couldn't justify it even if I weren't on a spending ban.
