Lush "It's Raining Men" Shower Gel

It is no secret now that I am a huge fan of Lush products, and they are my number one brand when it comes to treating myself to a good bath. It's Raining Men is one of their best selling products, and is scented with the same fragrance as the Honey I Washed The Kids soap, which I absolutely adore.

It has such a rich honey-toffee scent to it, so if you have a sweet tooth like myself you are bound to love it. You only need a small amount for it to lather up nicely, leaving your skin feeling soft and nourished. Best of all, the scent lingers on your skin! The consistency of the gel is quite thick making it slightly more difficult to get out of the bottle, but I much prefer this to runny, watery shower products that just end up running straight off down the plug, gone forever.

I don't have much more to say about this other than it is an absolutely gorgeous product. It doesn't come all that cheap, but as I mentioned previously you do only need a small amount to do the job. If you're a Lush virgin, I would strongly suggest having a sniff of this in store - this is the scent that got me hooked!

Have you tried It's Raining Men? Do you love it as much as I do?

Gift Idea - Baylis and Harding Gingerbread Trio

I've had Baylis and Harding Christmas gifts before, and never really thought much of them when I've used them. But I noticed this year that they brought out these "good enough to eat" gift sets and boy do they smell good!

My boyfriend actually bought me this for my birthday, but it's a really nice gift idea for sisters/friends/mums that I think they'd be really happy to receive. It comes with three different products, a chocolate chip scented shower cream, a sweet gingerbread body wash and a vanilla frosting body lotion.

My favourite of the three is definitely the body lotion. I whack a bit of this on in the morning before work and all of a sudden it's like I'm a walking, talking cupcake - it honestly smells that good! It is lightly moisturising, but not something I'd use when I'm suffering from dry skin.

The sweet gingerbread body wash reminds me of a gingerbread latte. It is packed full of shimmer which fortunately doesn't leave any residue behind. Though slightly more liquid than your average shower gel, it still lathers up nicely and leaves the skin smelling great.

The chocolate chip shower cream is of a slightly thicker consistency, but makes it no less difficult to lather up than the gingerbread body wash. This smells amazing, and is perfect for any chocoholic.

This trio makes such a lovely stocking filler for anyone, and isn't half bad at £10. You also get a lovely little cosmetic purse, which I'm bound to be using in future.

The Body Shop Earth Lover Shower Gel - Pear and Lemongrass

A few weeks ago when I was in The Body Shop I picked up a Love Your Body card. With it, you are offered an Earth Lovers shower gel worth £5. I hadn't bought from The Body Shop for quite some time, so was excited to "rediscover" what they have to offer. By the time it came to picking this up, I had already spent so much time in the shop I just wanted to leave, so grabbed this one on a whim. Honestly, I've never had a shower product that smelled as divine as this.

I'm quite a fan of the pear scent to begin with, but this is something else. The Earth Lovers shower gels are 100% biodegradable, and sulphate, paraben and colourant-free. This particular gel contains real extracts of pear and lemongrass. The product itself is quite watery, but it still lathers up to a reasonable amount and a little is more than enough. I've heard people say that this shower gel isn't moisturising in the slightest, but I've noticed that my skin does feel softer after use.

This is currently my favourite everyday shower gel and wouldn't have a problem buying it again!
