Models Own "Blizzard" - £5

Blizzard is a polish I've had since the Wonderland collection was released, but took a while getting round to using it. I thought it was just your average silver glitter polish, but once applied I noticed it actually has some gorgeous coloured particles. 

It's not my favourite polish from the collection, but it's still lovely over a nice base colour. Application was easy enough, although I did need to reposition some of the glitter in order to make it look slightly more even. 

I'm wearing this over OPI Planks a Lot in the above photo, however I think it would look lovely over a black or even white. I like to think of Blizzard as a wintery Ibiza Mix, and can't wait to see how it looks over other base coats. As with most glitter polishes though, it's not the easiest to remove.

Models Own Wonderland Collection - Northern Lights

Models Own Northern Lights - £5

I remember reading on the Models Own Facebook page quite a while back, a comment someone had posted. It was regarding a "Wonderland" collection, but no matter how hard I searched, I couldn't find any information on it whatsoever. Fast forward a month or so later and these gorgeous polishes were released.

My boyfriend being the star he is, picked up 3 for me on release day, and Northern Lights was one of them. I had never actually tried this until a few days ago but I will be wearing it a lot more this Winter.

Northern Lights is a fine holographic glitter, with a pink finish (Southern Lights is the same but purple) and is really easy to apply. Two coats wasn't quite opaque, but with 3 it really does stand out! I had a horrible feeling that it was going to be one of "those" glitter polishes that doesn't last a day on the nails but I was pleasantly surprised with how long it wears for. 

I have tried my best to capture this polish on camera, but the best way to view it would be under artificial lighting (a jewellers would be perfect). Have you bought anything from the Wonderland collection? I would strongly suggest picking up a few of these when they're on the 3 for 2 offer in Boots!
