Inglot Lovin'

Back in February I popped up a post on my first Inglot eyeshadows. Fast forward five months and I've accumulated 10 more. I started off with the top quad, the purchase of which was spurred on after reading Sophie's post. I was so impressed with them, I ordered another five lighter coloured neutrals (bottom palette) for my holiday to Florida.

If that wasn't enough already, I was toying with the idea of adding more neutrals to my collection. In a moment of madness however, I ordered five brights. I kid you not when I say these are the greatest performing shadows I've tried. The texture is smooth and blendable, but the pigmentation remains. Even the mattes are a dream to apply, something I don't have much luck with when it comes to other brands.

The two neutral palettes are my firm eyeshadow favourites, and although I have yet to try my new colours out properly, I think the swatches speak for themselves. I'm already feeling the need to invest in a 20 pan palette and add a few more! 

Inglot stores are few and far between in the UK, but you can find their online store here. The only downside is that it's quite a disorganised website. That and the shipping is £5. However, even with the delivery it's still cheaper than building your own MAC palette, as the eyeshadows retail at £4.50 each.

The Inglot Freedom System

I've heard a lot of positivity about Inglot eyeshadows over the past year or so, but never actually thought about creating one myself. That is, until I read Sophie's post here and convinced myself otherwise. After much Googling I settled on the quad with four shadows - 326, 360, 409 and 423. I did find it a bit difficult selecting what I wanted, though. All of the eyeshadows are numbered, not named, and there is such a huge selection it's a bit overwhelming. 

I settled on two shades from the matte formula, and two from the pearl. 326 is a dark, cool toned brown with a slight burgundy undertone. It has a matte finish. 409 is a bronze-brown with a pearl finish. 360 is a greyed taupe-brown with a matte finish. 423 is a burgundy brown with a pearl finish.

I can't tell you all enough just how pigmented these eyeshadows are. They are honestly the best I've ever tried, knocking MAC and NARS out of the park. Even the mattes perform beautifully, and I was actually taken aback when first swatched them.

Any one of the shades I chose create a gorgeous smokey eye and they all look great together. They come in at £4.50 each, with the quad priced at £6.00. Not bad at all when you look at the prices of Urban Decay or MAC's create your own system. 

I will most definitely be creating more of these palettes in the future. I can't fault the pigmentation, they're easy to blend, long wearing and the palette itself is magnetic and therefore very sturdy. You can find the entire shade range here.
