Since you all seem to be enjoying my reviews of Lush's seasonal ranges, I thought I'd make it into a little ongoing series and review the majority of the items in the Christmas collection.

The Luxury Lush Pud is based on the previous Lil Lush Pud bath bomb, but has been completely made over. For starters, it looks completely different. While Lil Lush Pud was made to resemble a traditional Christmas pudding, the Luxury Lush Pud is a touch more whimsical, with a purple base and multicoloured polka dots. This in turn transforms the water into a rich, bright purple as it fizzes away. It also has a lavender based scent, which is actually quite surprising considering my review of A French Kiss.

It's not the most hydrating of bath products, and it did leave my skin a little dry. Nothing a little moisturiser couldn't fix, but one to watch out for if you're suffering from dry skin or the likes of eczema. 

I'll probably be grabbing another one of these before the festive season ends as I love the colour of the water. For those of you that love the scent, it's available in the permanent collection in the Twilight bath bomb.

Lush Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb

Lush Shoot for the Stars - £3.25

I know, I know - another Lush review. But the Christmas collection had me running around like a mad woman (or more realistically, I had the boyfriend running around for me), grabbing everything I hadn't tried because I'd convinced myself they'd have none left come December. Although that's probably not the case many a bath bomb landed in my possession and I just had to share this one.

Shoot for the Stars is everything I could ever want in a bath bomb. It's colourful, smells amazing (Honey I Washed the Kids, anyone?) and is totally packed with silver glitter, turning your bath into a shimmery galaxy. It's also filled with little stars that float around the water once the bomb has dissolved. It does leave glitter around the bath once drained, but this was easily fixed by washing it down with the shower head. If you're not a glitter fan though, it's not for you - you'll end up covered in the stuff!

There's a part of me that's really wishing Shoot for the Stars will become part of their permanent range, I love it so much. I know what I'm putting on my Christmas list!

Space Girl

Lush Space Girl Bath Bomb | £2.25

Another recent Lush purchase, Space Girl is one of the only bath bombs that I've never tried from their range. It's one of their cheapest at only £2.25, which probably led me to believe it was nothing special. 

It's shaped like a spaceship and the scent is very reminiscent of Parma Violets. It really packs a punch, my sister even commented on how nice it smelled outside of the bathroom! When the bath bomb is dropped in the bath it begins the turn the water a dark purple, but once it fizzes away towards the centre the water starts to transform into a deep, blood red. Space Girl is also laced with popping candy, providing you with some light entertainment (at least for me, anyway!) once the taps are off. 

As with most bath bombs, they aren't particularly moisturising however this didn't leave my skin dehydrated either. It's definitely a fun little treat and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it, particularly to Lush newbies!

Lush Party Popper Bath Bomb

Lush Party Popper Bath Bomb - £2.95

Another review of one of Lush's Christmas offerings. Party Popper is a cone shaped bath bomb which creates a party in your bath. Scented with bergamot and tangerine oils, it's reminiscent of dry champagne and is actually quite pleasant and not overpowering. 

But unfortunately it's one of those "blink and you'll miss it" bath bombs. It had completely fizzed away so quickly, which I was slightly disappointed with, but at £2.95 I couldn't complain too much. It turned the water a luminous pink, leaving behind a trail of confetti made from honeydew melon and soap. Lush recommends you clean yourself with it, but I took this advice and got a lovely pink stain on my stomach!

Surprisingly, it didn't stain my bath (always a plus). It didn't leave my skin gloriously smooth but it didn't feel dehydrated either. As with a few of their bath bombs it's said to contain popping candy, which I've never noticed while they're fizzing away and this is no different. 

Despite the speedy fizzing, I do enjoy the scent and colours of this so I would pick it up again. Have you tried the Party Popper bath bomb?

Lush Golden Wonder

Lush Golden Wonder Bath Bomb - £3.25

You're probably all sitting there thinking "What, another Lush post?!" but I can't get enough of their products at the minute. Golden Wonder was a bath bomb that didn't really intrigue me up until a couple of weeks ago. I'm not quite sure why, but it just didn't catch my eye. But after using it up it's definitely not one of the plain jane bombs that they have to offer!

It doesn't contain your "typical" Christmas scent - it's citrusy with orange and lime oils. But I'm okay with that, I think it makes for a refreshing bath. When it's shaken, the bath bomb rattles like an actual present would (we're all guilty).

Golden Wonder is coated in a shimmery gold dust, which is messy on the fingers but gorgeous in the water (think Sunnyside but more subtle). When it first starts to dissolve the bubbles are gold in colour, but this quickly transitions to purple and blue with a spot of pink here and there. The water then turned into a blue/green and the bomb fizzed away to reveal little golden stars.

I've read that the Golden Wonder leaves no residue and I can agree to a certain extent when it comes to the golden stars, but I was left with a golden coating around my bath from the coating.

I'm really impressed with this bath bomb because it is very aesthetically pleasing, and I will definitely pick up another before the Christmas products retire for another year! What are your thoughts on Golden Wonder?

Lush So White

Lush "So White" Bath Ballistic - £3.20

So White is another product that Lush have to offer at Christmas. It may look like a plain, boring bath bomb, but the scent is one of my favourites. It smells of fresh, crisp and sweetened apples and actually reminds me of the Sugared Apple Yankee Candle.

Lush seem to have altered a few of their Christmas products this year, and So White is no exception. The previous version of this bath ballistic was in fact plain, producing a white foam when dissolved. However, they have upped the size of it this year, and it now contains a bright pink center which produces pink foam as it's fizzing away.

Unfortunately I wasn't expecting this and ended up missing the majority of the colour, but I had a pleasant bath nonetheless. I'll definitely pick up another of these before Christmas is out!
