I've recently been going through a phase with palettes, in the sense that I just can't get enough of them. It's like I've suddenly realised how convenient they are, not to mention value for money in most cases. After reading Gemma's review on the NARS Fairy's Kiss palette I just couldn't resist. I'd never tried any NARS shadows previous to this, and now I'm left wanting more.
The main reason I'd decided to order this was because it's cheaper than previous palettes at £32.00. While this is because it's smaller, I don't mind as it's a brilliant size to travel with. Fairy's Kiss contains six shadows at a weight of 0.03oz each, and are as follows:-
- Manosque - A shimmery, dusky pink. The shimmer isn't as noticeable on the lids and is a nice, everyday shade.
- Kalahari - A frosty, warm toned brown. A great crease colour.
- Brousse - An intense black-purple. A little difficult to blend out, but a lovely colour nonetheless.
- Tokyo - A shimmery lavender. Looks lovely paired with Brousse.
- Brumes - A matte charcoal grey. Great for a smokey eye.
- Pandora - A matte black. Nice to use as a soft liner.
My favourite shades in the palette have to be Manosque and Kalahari (worn in the photo above). I love them for everyday and they've been getting a large amount of use. Tokyo and Brousse also make a great pairing. I would recommend using these shadows with a primer (such as NYX Milk) to really intensify the colour. I do have oily lids so they are prone to creasing a little on myself, but this can also come down to the primer.
Fairy's Kiss is limited edition (along with the Ride Up to the Moon palette), and I'd really recommend snapping it up before it disappears, particularly if you're a lover of neutrals that can also be glammed up!

Gorgeous colours. Also, I need your eyebrows!

I absolutely love it, worth the money in my opinion! xx
DeleteAH, WHY?! I absolutely NARS products and don't actually own any of their eyeshadows, but would love to! I think it's a MUCH better value to get one of these palette's because you'll get a mix of shadows and just because their smaller doesn't mean it's bad! Can you imagine how long it'll take you to use up a NARS single eyeshadow?! Haha, hopefully one day they come out with a small palette with a bunch of colors that I'm really liking so I can jump up and purchase it. The duo you have on your lids is gorgeous!!
